Our EAT. SHARE. CONNECT. community lunches held each Wednesday have been extremely enjoyable and very successful and we recently hosted a lunch with our highest ever number of guests!
At this lunch one of our clients from Iraq cooked kuba burghal and briyani, and another client from Sri Lanka cooked a seafood dish. Kuba is made out of burghal dough filled with mince-meat, then deep fried. The seafood dish has sardines, squid, and root vegetable.
Another wonderful lunch enjoyed by all and more recipes to include in our CARAD cookbook. Thank you to our clients, volunteers and staff for your involvement.
