As you will remember, last year CARAD was the recipient of a $100,000 grant from Impact100 WA!
Our project was to take our weekly Eat. Share. Community lunches to the wider Perth community by creating a Food Truck operated by our refugee and asylum seeker clients.
Since then our dedicated committee made up of volunteers and clients has been working hard to make our food truck dream a reality and are excited to update you on our progress!
While we have yet to find a suitable truck to purchase (we are close!), we are ready to show our products to the community. We are going to start by holding a stall at Subi Market for the very first time on Saturday May 12th. We would love if you are able to come and support our enterprise and try our delicious food while you’re at it!
