CARAD is a not-for-profit organisation enabling refugees and people seeking asylum to live with dignity. We provide essential needs, advocacy and welfare support services to people seeking humanitarian protection in Western Australia. CARAD envisions a welcoming Australia where refugees and people seeking asylum can rebuild their lives and are treated with compassion and respect.
CARAD Services
CARAD is an independent, community-based organisation providing specialised welfare and advocacy assistance to asylum seekers, refugees and detainees in Western Australia.
Since opening its doors in 2000, CARAD has provided support to over 5,000 refugees, people seeking asylum and detainees fleeing persecution through our Client Services and Volunteer Programs.
2025 Annual general meeting
Join us for CARAD's 2025 Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, November 5th at Perth City Farm! Doors open 5pm; meeting starts 6pm. All community members are warmly welcomed to attend and learn about the work CARAD has been up to. Please note that voting rights are reserved for members who have signed up or renewed by 15 October. If you haven't signed up yet, make sure to do so today to have your voice heard in CARAD's decisions.

We Are Looking For a New Home
We are keen to hear from the community of any available space which might be suitable for our purposes. Our key requirements are a client meeting area, sufficient space for the CARAD Pantry, and office space for our dedicated team of staff and volunteers. Car bays would be a bonus!
