About the CARAD Pantry
CARAD provides many essential services to people seeking asylum that have nowhere else to turn. One of the most vital is our Pantry service. The CARAD Pantry runs entirely on donated items, sorted and lovingly packed by dedicated volunteers.
All the food and hygiene items we distribute are donated by many and various Western Australian organisations, schools and also generous individuals in the community. CARAD are thankful for the support of our fresh produce partner SecondBite who supply our fresh fruit and vegetables every week.
If you would like to be on our CARAD Pantry donor list or to join as a partner school please email pantry@carad.org.au. And remember keep an eye on our socials for priority items.

Each week, CARAD receives donated food free of charge from SecondBite, one of Australia’s largest food rescue organisations. SecondBite provide fresh food and vegetables to our foodbank, which are then sorted and packed by our volunteers, to be distributed directly to our asylum seeking clients. The food provided makes a real difference to the lives of our CARAD families, and ensures that they have healthy, nutritious meals each week. Thank you to SecondBite for your generosity and support!
