Fundraising ideas

Many CARAD members through their own creativity, energy and initiatives have organised some wonderful events to raise funds and awareness for CARAD.

We have some ideas that you may like to consider for your CARAD Pop Up Fundraiser:

  • Ask friends or family to sponsor a goal or activity like a fun run, walk, fasting something such as alcohol, shaving your head ETC. You can accomplish something amazing while also raising funds for our clients

  • Organise a raffle or silent auction

  • Host a clothing swap for a small charge and donate proceeds to CARAD

  • Host a morning tea with a donation cover charge

  • Have a coffee drought where your workplace would donate what they would usually spend on coffee or lunch

  • Be a drop off point for a Food Bank Pantry Drive. You would be the collection point and you would promote our most needed items in the Food Bank and them donate them to the CARAD office on a Monday and Tuesday morning.

  • Host a bake sale

  • Host a movie night and sell tickets

  • Organise your own Eat. Share. Connect. DONATE. event. When you will ask everyone to bring a plate from their culture of origin and charge an entry fee.

  • Sell tickets to a Wine and Cheese night and show our short documentary.

  • Use you wedding registry as an opportunity to donate to CARAD. Bank details can be sent to you for easy transfer for your guests email interest to office@carad.org.au

These are just some of the many ways you can support CARAD. We always welcome new and creative ideas that best suit you and your community.
